Maternal Newborn and Child Health
We are moving forward
AIDS Education Group for Youth (AEGY) in partnership with Mennonite central committee is implementing the Maternal, New-Born, and Child Health in Bugulumbya sub county Kamuli district. The project aims at improving maternal, new-born and child health in the community through improved utilization of high impact interventions in Kamuli district.
The NIYETU Project aim at contributing to the health of the youth population, free them from violence and empowered in an inclusive civil society that promotes state accountability.
The program is implemented in 13 sub counties of Kamuli District which include Nabwigulu, Balawoli, Namasagali, Butansi, Mbulamuti, Kitayunjwa, Bugulumbya, Nawanyago, Kisozi, Namwendwa, Wankole, Kamuli Town council and Bulopa Sub Counties.
- Reduction in sexual reproductive health related risks and gender-based violence among adolescents/youth (girls and boys) aged 10-24.
- Increased capacity and influence of youth led organizations to influence the operations of CSOs and implementation of youth related agenda.

The Outcome
⦁ Increase availability and quality of essential maternal new-born and child health services at the facility and community level including among youth groups.
⦁ Increase utilisation of quality maternal new born and child health services.
⦁ Increase community acceptance, support and demand for the high impact interventions for maternal new born and child health.
